Wheel Throwing Boot Camp - February 2026
Looking to improve your throwing skills? Come join Miki’s wheel throwing boot camp that’s jam packed with tips and tricks to bring you to the next level! Recommended for participants with at least 2 beginner’s classes under their belt (or equivalent).
Boot Camp Schedule
Monday, February 2nd (6:00PM - 9:00PM) - Centering and Throwing Off the Hump, Throwing a Wet Chuck
Thursday, February 5th (6:00PM - 9:00PM) - Trimming Using Korean Trimming Tools
Monday, February 9th (6:00PM - 9:00PM) - Throwing Lidded Forms, Trimming Tips for Lidded Forms
Thursday, February 12th (6:00PM - 9:00PM) - Techniques to Throw Taller Vessels
Class Policies
Class fees cover instructed class time, use of tools and equipment, open studio hours, studio glazes, kiln firings and 1x bag of 25 lbs of clay (clay body is chosen at the discretion of the instructor).
To cancel this class, please email us and request cancellation. The cancellation request must be received two weeks prior to class start. If the cancellation request is received two weeks prior to the start of the class, a refund (minus $20 processing fee) will be granted. We are unable to accommodate cancellation requests received less than two weeks prior to class start.
No make up classes are available if you miss a session.
Any items left behind 15 days after the final class meeting may be discarded. Reasonable attempts will be made to contact you for pickup prior to staff discarding said items.
Non member students will receive complimentary studio access outside of class hours during designated open studio hours.
Complimentary open studio hours only apply to the classroom wheels.
Classes are subject to change if the minimum student quota isn't met (6 students).
