Workshop Overview: The Art of the Double Wall & Korean Piercing
Instructor: Porcelain Throwing and Altered Forms
Duration: 2 Days, Monday, October 5 - Tuesday, October 6, 10AM-4PM
Prerequisite: Participants must be able to throw even-walled cylinders using at least 3 lbs of clay. No porcelain experience is required.

Curriculum
Yoo Sung will be instructing a 2 day workshop on techniques for throwing porcelain and altering porcelain forms. He will guide participants on how to ensure a stable structure on their thrown form before altering their piece to demonstrate an organic flow.
Included in this workshop:
2 days of instruction - total 12 hours (6 hours per day)
Live Korean to English translation during demonstration and instruction
1x 25 lb bag of Laguna Frost Porcelain (additional clay may be purchased)
Glazes and firing
Class Policies
To cancel this class, please email us to request cancellation. Due to the extensive planning that is involved in hosting an international artist, the cancellation request must be received at least one month prior to workshop start. If the cancellation request is received one month prior to the start of the workshop, a refund (minus $20 processing fee) will be granted. We are unable to accommodate cancellation requests received less than one month prior to workshop start unless a replacement is found.
If you are unable to make the class and are unable to receive a refund, you may transfer your spot to a friend or family member, please email to transfer.
No make up classes are available if you miss a session.
Any items left behind 15 days after the final class meeting may be discarded. Reasonable attempts will be made to contact you for pickup prior to staff discarding said items.
No open studio hours are included in this workshop.
Classes are subject to change if the minimum student quota isn't met (14 students).
