Advanced Wheel Throwing (Level 3)
Course Duration: 6 weeks, September 4th - October 9th
Time: Thursdays, 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

This course is designed for experienced potters who are looking to challenge themselves with more complex projects. Students registering for this class should be able to center a minimum of 3+ lbs comfortably.
In this advanced course, the instructor will tailor the curriculum based on the needs and skillsets of each class. Demonstrations may vary per session. Students may be asked to trim their pieces from class during Open Studio time to ensure the maximum number of demos shown throughout this session.
Members will receive a 20% discount on classes. Members please reach out to Common Clay Space staff for a discount code prior to signing up for class.
Class Policies
Class fees cover instructed class time, use of tools and equipment, open studio hours, studio glazes, kiln firings and 1x bag of 25 lbs of clay (clay body is chosen at the discretion of the instructor).
The first class is mandatory to attend as we go over studio procedures and safety rules.
To cancel a class, please email us and request cancellation. The cancellation request must be received two weeks prior to class start. If the cancellation request is received two weeks prior to the start of the class, a refund (minus $20 processing fee) will be granted. We are unable to accommodate cancellation requests received less than two weeks prior to class start.
If you miss a class, each 6 week session will include a one time make up class. Make up classes are scheduled on the Sunday of the last week of the session. Please check with your instructor for details. The instructor for the make up class may not be the same instructor as your regular class. Make up classes may have students from other sessions.
Any items left behind 15 days after the final class meeting may be discarded. Reasonable attempts will be made to contact you for pickup prior to staff discarding said items.
Non member students will receive complimentary studio access outside of class hours during designated open studio hours.
Complimentary open studio hours only apply to the classroom wheels.
